Welcome to my very first artist newsletter. Thank you for coming along this journey with me. Come check out new and exclusive work at the Somerville Art Fair’s June Artist Salon! June 5, 2026, I’ll be at Bow Market at Upstairs at Bow along with other talented artists talking about our work, displaying new pieces, and have exclusive sales of both originals and prints. Past Events/Updates
In February of 2026 I had the honor of designing the T-Shirts for the Museum of Science’s Black History Month event. I also got to moderate a workshop on fabric collage. We had an excellent turn out, and it was such a fun event. I loved sharing the process of my work with this crowd and hope to host more of these types of workshops in the future.
From March 1st through March 30th 2026 I showed my most vulnerable work yet in a show named “Inherited Degeneration.” Inherited Degeneration is a mixed media show about the incredibly rare degenerative brain illness I’ve been losing my mom to and that I discovered a year ago that I have too. This work is the legacy I’ll leave my daughter when I can’t remember anymore. She’ll know who I was and through this work, maybe you will too.
